When you create a Syllawise account, we collect your name and email address. When you upload documents, we store them securely to generate study content for you.
Your uploaded files are used exclusively to generate personalized study materials (questions, flashcards, summaries, and practice exams). We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your documents to train AI models.
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Files are stored on secure cloud infrastructure. You can delete your uploads at any time from the Uploads page.
We use Stripe for payment processing and OpenAI's API for content generation. Your documents are sent to OpenAI's API for processing but are not retained by OpenAI for training purposes per our data processing agreement.
